Cook for Your Life is a website that teaches healthy cooking for people touched by cancer. It provides nutritious recipes for people in different states of treatment, and to promote healthy survivorship. Recipes can be searched by specific needs. Popular categories include: healthy survivorship; in treatment; neutropenic diet; gluten free; fatigue; low calorie; bland diet; nausea; high protein; high fiber; low-fiber; easy to swallow; and high calorie. Open to adults eighteen and over at low or no cost in more than 750 YMCA’s across the country. Survivors participate in exercise regimens catered to their individual needs from certified fitness instructors. The instructors are trained in cancer survivorship, post-rehabilitation exercise and supportive cancer care.
